The Quran Knowledge Competition, started in 2008 by "Quranic Thoughts" in India, is a prize awarding competition which encourages people to learn the Quran in depth.〔Muskurahat-e-Hind, Aug. 2008〕 Various prizes will be awarded for those who will attain the highest marks in this competition. *First Prize : Rs. 1 million *Second Prize : Rs. half million *Third Prize : Rs. 3 lacs Besides the major prizes every participants who scores more than 90 marks will be awarded Rs.1000 for each mark. Thus, potentially every participant is a winner of at least Rs. 10,000 even if s/he could not get big prizes. ==Organizer== Afkar-e-Qurani, an international magazine based purely on Quranic Teachings, is the organizer of the competition and has tied up with various other people and organisations. Peace TV is in the queue of proposed channels with AlresalaTV as channel partner.
